Hello blog, 好久不见.
Someone told me that I should blog more.
Should I? I don't know.
Maybe when I have something very interesting to share ba~
I don't think anyone will want to know my daily life..
like what I have for breakfast, what as lunch and dinner.
What I do today? Where I go today? ya.. boring right.
So, lets wait till I have something very interesting then blog ba.

World Food Fair 2016 - 世界美食展

Last minute decided to go to World Food Fair at expo to do a food hunt. To see what new and interesting food I'm able to find at there. I went there quite late, at about 8pm. Some of the stall is already starting packing doing closing.

Walk around and this Durian Bomb (榴莲炸弹) caught my attention. I'm a durian lover. I will not hesitate to try out food that consist durian.

This little balls which called Durian bomb which is basically fried durian, cost SGD5 for 6 pieces for original price. You see 7 pieces in the picture is because they give me one extra pieces and I bought it at 6+1 pieces for SGD4. It is product of Malaysia but imported by a singapore company which I won't say out the company name because the boss (or person in charge) at the stall during food fair is damn fierce.

With the name Durian BOMB , I expect it to be like the durian filling will explode (flow out) when you bite on it. Sadly, no it doesn't. The first bite I took like 1/3 of it, all I bite off was the skin. The skin is like sesame ball's skin without sesame. Imagine sesame ball without sesame coating outside and inside is fill with durian puree, that's how it taste like. The filling inside is like 1/2 full only (or maybe lesser). I was kinda disapointed because the bomb doesn't explode. The texture of the filling is more like durian puree, more of creamy side, doesnt't have those original durian texture.

Not the best fried durian so far from what I have tried, but still worth trying. I will give it a 7/10 rating. It's abit pricey, it will be awesome if the filling is abit more. I will still buy it again if I walk past and happen to see anyone selling it, but I won't make my way down just to buy this.

And I bought myself Thai milk tea which my is favourite drink for now and Cheesy potato!! Love it!

The same as those cheesy potato which you can find in taiwan street food. I don't know how taiwan cheesy potato taste like, never try before. I believe taste wise will not be 100% the same. But I love this. I love potato, I love cheese, the best combination. You can choose the topping, there is ham, corn, half an egg, broccoli, pineapple (I didn't add broccoli and pineapple) and on top that red colour one I think is fried bacon. I think~ I not sure too, all I know is it's so crispy.  

On the Brochure I saw the "Rong Shu Xia Lok Lok" the picture take until so nice, I was looking for the stall and when I found the stall, it's so disappointed once again. The lok-lok is not what I thought. Not like malaysia style, display out alot and let you choose what you want. NO! It's all pack in a package of one small plate (2 pieces) at SGD2. So meaning you can't mix and match what you want la. You can only pick those pre-pack. And on brochure it says 8 different special gravy sauce. Okay, there is 8.. but it's just dipping sauce and I don't see "special" sauce.

Lastly, I bought this!

Salted Egg Yolk Fish Skin

It's so yummy! Although it's pricey too, SGD7 per pack, but it's so yummy. I regret only buying one pack. There is another version, Salted egg yolk potato chips. I personally prefer the Fish skin, because i love fried fish skin. Hahaha! That sum up my day at world food fair 2016.

My nephew love it lots! At first I was worried that the T-shirt might not fix my nephew as I couldn't get to pick the size (seem like there is only one fix size). After I got home and let him try, PERFECT! Fix him nicely! He was so happy when he know that this bag of items is for him!

ABTM3 and River Ang Bao

Catching abtm3 movie together with Spiffy!

We had our lunch at burger king before movie start.

Before we head in to the cinema, spiffy get herself smoothie king.

She eat well~ 

After movie we went to River Ang Bao!

I feel cheated, I was told that it was so fun there.

But end up, there is nothing much.

Is just to see lights and lights and more lights.

The food there is expensive. 

The fun fair there is expensive as well, $5/6 for a game.

And the game there is limited, mostly for kids.

But we still enjoy ourself in photo taking, learning how to use selfie-stick.

I believe this is a must thing for everyone who drop by there,

Which is to check out their Chinese Zodiac Sign!

There is another thing that most people surrounded which is the 许愿井.

Basically, you need to try to hit the bell by throwing a coin.

There is 5 bells, each stand for one meaning. 

See which you want and you aim for it. It's not easy to hit it.

We went Toast Box to get our dinner after we done walking and photo taking at River Ang Bao.

I'm more thirsty than hungry, therefore I got myself some toast and drink.

That Laksa look so yummy but sadly I don't take spicy food :(

I will always go when I can.

A Uncle standing right beside us was explaining to us.

Telling us the story and answering some questions that we always wanted to know.

Those people are always so friendly.

If I'm not wrong, the uncle in-charge of 九皇七帝 as well.

Food of Asia 2014

Went Food of Asia today and got to eat lots of food!

Tried the Ice Cream that I always wanted to try.
Taste good but I don't have a good tummy (stomach flu) I only ate like half
and share the other half with my dad.
Korean BBQ pork is also another MUST try!!!
How they make it taste so good har. If only I can have this cook at home :p
We bought home the crab (I have no idea what it suppose to be called) for dinner.
Heat it up in toaster, and still taste good. Just that a bit too oily and spicy for me.
Basically today whole day is all about food despite of my stomach flu.

McDonald's Happy Meal Toy - Pikachu

Call me a kid or what so ever, I don't care.
There isn't any age limit to be a fan of Pokemon right?

Meet the cast of The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown - Bugis Junction

Fan meet and greet at Bugis Junction - Bugis Square

Event start at 5pm, and I reach at around 4pm.

No plan of going there early to chop place for good view.

Surprisingly when I reached, there is like only 2-3 rows of fans sitting in front of stage around.

They sang 2 songs, and 3 QnA for fans to win prices.

The fan meet is kind of short actually, not even an hour.

Is like only 45 minutes.
Great to see them once again. :)

Gala Premiere of The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown

Thank you Shaw Theatres for giving this chance to attend the Gala Premiere of The Lion Men: Ultimate Showdown.

My first time attending movie gala in my life.
Great experience.
Get to see alot of the cast who act in the movie.
Is like so up close to them.
Even getting chance of taking photo with them and autograph.

Red carpet was so crowded.
So many fans who came so early to camp there so to get good view to see their favourite artist.
I don't really like crowded places and squeeze with people.
Hence, i'm just standing behind.

Nice movie. With lots of stunt and computer graphic.
Feel like I'm sitting on a emotional roller coaster while watching this movie.
Some parts will make you laugh out loud. Some parts will make your tears drop.
I don't wanna be a spoiler. So i'm not gonna say out in details.
If you already watch the movie, you will know which one I referring to.

The Lion Men PK @ Thomson Plaza

Went down to Thomson Plaza with Yvonne.

Saw the boys, and of course Alex!

Didn't manage to took a nice picture of Alex.

But I manage to take photo (selfie) with Maxi, WeiLiang, Jasper, Jack Neo and Michelle today.

I was standing right at the side of the stage.

Just nice Maxi was on the side of the stage near me.

I call him and ask can I take a photo with you?

He said yes and ask me come to the front of the stage right infront of him to take the photo.

I was so nervous and my hand was shaking therefore the selfie didn't turn out that well.

It's kinda blur, but still okay :)

All of them was in a room, when jasper came out, everyone start want to take picture with him.

When he walk past me, I stopped him and ask for photo taking.

He look outside and answer me "ok, last one, I really need to go."

So nice right.

For weiliang, I waited for him somewhere near the bus. 

The guy behind him was asking him to hurry up and move faster.

And I told weiliang, please just one picture, and he agree :)

Ragnarok Online II - The last game

I decided to leave RO2.
I met a lot of nice people in-game after you are gone.
We were having fun all day long.
Doing Raid together, swim together in the sea at Alberta.
Playing hide-and-seek etc etc.
Thanks for the memory, I will miss you guys :)

Kuantan Day 2

#throwback 30-March-2013

Meeting Keegan and cousin at 7am for breakfast.

Nothing special, Toasted bread, Hashbrown, Sausages, Cake, Fried Noodle, Tea for breakfast @ The Ritz Grill right beside the lobby of the hotel.

8am, the day just started!

Wanted to sit my dad car to kamaman but cousin say "你爸不熟悉路跟车很麻烦。"

But I'm so scared I will 晕车 again.

After that I realise it's a MPV! Okay la, MPV I won't 晕车.

It's so true that I can only sit MPV. Ha! Ha!

There is a coffee shop at kamaman that is very famous, 

With very nice coffee/tea and kueh.

We reach there at 9.15am++

Sadly it's too late and it's already full house and most of the kueh were sold out :(

So we continue travel to the cemetery.

We reach there around 10.am++, the SUN is already out! It's so HOT!

After praying, we went to a last time grandparents neighbour's house.

I don't know who they are, but my cousin know all of them! Even my dad don't know them too.

Cousin told us that he know them is because last time my grandmother always bring him here.

Here is some pictures of the place we at. It's just 2 row of houses. They name this place 华人新村.

This uncle's 排骨酥 is very famous.

We never fail to order from him every year.
But he stopped doing it for years and now his brother is back to help him with the 排骨酥.

After collecting and exploring the kampong, cousin know I want to go Seaside, and yes! he bring me to the seaside!

This keropok damn nice. Not what we found in Singapore. You can really taste the fish!

THE SEA

Nothing more happy than having this sea right in front of me.

For Lunch, again late lunch, 2pm++ we went to a hainanese restaurant.

After that went back to kuantan and drop a visit to another cousin's shop at kuantan.

难得一次的聚餐, It has been a long time since we whole family (kuantan's side) sit down and have dinner together.
We separate into 2 tables, Adults at one, Children at one.
Of coz I'm sitting at the children side together with keegan, we are both children! :p

Kuantan Day 1

#throwback 29-March-2013

Wake up at 4am and left house at 5am to woodland checkpoint.
Morning is never easy for me.
I always feel so giddy in the car especially in the morning.
6 hours of travelling time from JB to Kuantan.
Not included the jam at checkpoint!
The Journey began.

Dim Sum for breakfast.

Again, I'm so giddy until I can't take any food.
I just have a cup of Milo.
The above photo can't make it.
I seriously don't have the energy and mood to take nice picture due to the giddiness.

The First Stop (Toilet break) - MERSING!
I always fail here. Finally, I can't endure and throw out everything!
I remember last year at this stop I vomited, this year also.
The road from Kota Tinggi to Mersing, I always can't make it.
It's a nightmare to me. It make me so giddy until I vomited.
Definitely, after throw out everything, I feel much better.
Nice sea view, but sorry no photo, because I'm still half sick.
Mersing is always full of tourist because it's the place where they sit boat over to Tioman Island.
I never been to Tioman Island before, but I goggle it before.
It's also a nice place for holiday. I wish to go there one day. :)

Second Stop - ROMPIN!
Another toilet break. For my dad is more of a leg resting time for him.
Everytime when we reach this stop my dad will say "到Rompin咯!"
I don't have much memory at this place.
Because after Mersing, I will fall asleep all the way until Rompin :)

Third Stop - PEKAN!
Everytime when we reach here, we will be damn happy, because we know we reaching kuantan soon!
My dad always say "要到kuantan了咯!"
Same thing, not much memory, is just a toilet break.

FINALLY! KUANTAN!
It's nearly 2.30pm and we just reach kuantan!
We haven't even had our lunch yet!
The first thing we do when we reach kuantan is to go to the market,
and get the food we need to pray for tml 上山.
Also buy our lunch.
After that Check-in hotel.
SEASON VIEW standard one.
Not a 5-star hotel. But, not bad, because it's new, clean and comfortable.
My dad don't like spend much money on hotel.
He always tell my sis this, "we come here is to walk around not to ask you stay in hotel whole day. You want stay 5-star, go back Singapore MBS stay one night."
By the time we check in is already 3pm++

Some picture of the room, kinda small, but bigger than last year.

The Toilet! I love it so much! Because it's so bright and big! I'm most scared of those "dark" and small toilet, and my dad used the toilet before letting me took a picture.

One thing bad about this hotel, no table.
Only one make-up table with a big TV used up half of the table.
So we have to eat in this way.

                                                MY FAVOURITE FOOD - LOK LOK!

This Lok-Lok in kuantan is the best.
I have try once at malacca, and it doesn't taste as good as this one at kuantan market.
It's a must try if you happen to be at Kuantan market.
I think is because of their chilli, I don't know why but this one just taste much better.
And the most happiest thing for me is, WI-FI!

Resting and enjoy my wi-fi all the way until 7pm, dinner with Cousin Heng.
Went to a restaurant, everytime we go kuantan they sure bring us to restaurant.
Actually we prefer street food.
After dinner, Go back hotel lor. Boring right.

Waiting for Keegan to reach kuantan. They coming down from KL.
They reach at 10pm+ so late!
My dad told them meet 7am tml at ground floor for breakfast,
Actually should be 6am, my dad scared they not enough sleep so make it a bit later for them.
Yes, we staying in same hotel, I can't wait to see Keegan!
